Working Sheepdog Puppies for Sale, (NOW SOLD) ideal for sheep or cattle work, competitive agility homes or as active family companions.

The parents of this litter, Scout and Trilby, are home bred.
We expect these puppies will have inherited their parents’ high working drive, stamina, as well as their affectionate and fun temperaments.
The litter was born on March 17th. They will be ready to go to their new homes on May 12th.
Unplanned but not unwelcome…

We were not planning to breed any more puppies, but Scout and Trilby had other ideas! Even so, they’ve been a joy to us, and Scout is a wonderful mother.
The puppies will only be sold to suitable homes, preferably with a farming or alternatively, proven competitive agility or obedience experience. That said, genuinely active, outdoor-loving families, with someone at home during the day, will also be seriously considered.

All our collie farm dogs work sheep, and are suitable for working cattle and other livestock. However, despite their “high drive” they’re happy to switch off and play or relax when they aren’t working. This makes them excellent family, as well as farm, dogs.
Working dog suitability
We try hard to match the right puppy to the new home. Our puppies best suit active, experienced homes that understand the time, training and mental stimulation collies need to help them grow into working partners. Other puppies from these lines have responded well to training, becoming excellent sheepdogs and agility competitors in the UK and abroad.

The puppies are eating raw meat and puppy kibble, and will adapt to whatever style of diet their new homes prefer.
“Technical Data”
Scout and both of Trilby’s parents are DNA tested Clear for CEA.
The puppies are microchipped. At eight weeks of age, the pups will not have been vaccinated.
Both parents are ISDS registered, but the puppies are unregistered.
Leisure Time

We actively encourage all of our dogs to play together when they’re not working. The puppies join in with the adult dogs as soon as they feel ready. Our pups are always relaxed and sensible around other dogs, and learn important lessons from their “elders and betters”.
All dogs and puppies leave with a 30 day trial period. Puppies can be returned to us for a refund if you change your mind, or your circumstances, within 30 days of collection.

Please read our Puppy FAQ, then email us for more details, and include a little information about yourself and the home you can offer.
Buyers planning to train for sheep or cattle work have a year’s free subscription to our online tutorials. And, of course, we’re happy to offer help and advice as training progresses.
