A stylish dog at work
Pip’s so stylish when she works sheep or cattle. She has a great “stop” most of the time, and when she stops, she presses herself firmly into the grass like this. It doesn’t slow her down, though. Pip is so well balanced that she’s up in an instant when she needs to move.
A stylish dog tends to be one that works low to the ground, but if you have a dog that works upright it can be equally good at practical sheep work. A willing dog, under good control, will be capable of all practical tasks.
