Scylla and Oliver
The dogs have had some new toys recently, and this morning’s addition was a small, squeaky space hopper. (Those “of a certain age” will know what a space hopper was.)
Oliver, who doesn’t usually play with toys, desperately wanted the space hopper, but Scylla, who also rarely plays with toys, was quicker to snatch it up and Oliver’s far too polite to use force against a girl.
I’m sure Ezra would use a different word to describe Oliver, but I know what I like to think – Poor Oliver!
