Pic of the day – New, borrowed and blue

“It smells like a collie, and tastes like a collie, so I guess it must be!”

It’s a novelty for us to have a blue merle border collie around the place.

Merlin is one of Ezra’s daughters.

She was born in Shropshire, to an ISDS registered red merle, and has come to stay with us for a few weeks to keep our own puppy, Tesla, company.

Neither of the girls could be described as a “shrinking violet”, but Merlin is wasting no time in settling in and finding her place among the pack. She quickly laid claim to everybody’s favourite toy!
