Will online sheepdog training tutorials play on my device? It’s a question we’re sometimes asked when potential subscribers have experienced buffering or stuttering playback on other sites.
Have you found your video buffering, or even stopping, when you watch videos – even ours – online? If you have, you’ll be pleased to hear we’ve made some big improvements to our service.
Fast or Slow connections
We’ve re-encoded each of our tutorials to make them more accessible on slower internet connections. At the same time, they cater for those whose faster connections are capable of handling high definition video. Thanks to our new system, if your connection is good enough to watch YouTube or Vimeo, you should be able to watch the online training tutorials with ease.
To take advantage of the system, click SD or HD in the bottom-right corner of the player, and make sure the dropdown is set to AUTO. The AUTO setting will automatically select the best quality video for your internet connection – even under varying conditions.
Despite our improvements, if you still experience buffering or stalling playback, please tell us. There are other causes of poor video performance so we can probably help.
