Sheepdogs enjoy play time just as much as pet or companion dogs
Can you allow your sheepdog to play? Yes!
Whatever the weather, the dogs always seem to make the most of things. Your collie is needed to work sheep or cattle, but it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t have fun. Enjoy some time off with your dog, because no one can work all the time.
Being allowed to play shouldn’t make any difference to the dog’s work. The rule is: YOU decide when it’s time to play, and when to stop.
